Everyone is home, enjoying the mid-winter holiday. However, I want to share more news about college admissions. First, Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, approved Carter Carrio’s application. Carter is a senior, completing his second year at Franklin Academy, and Johnson & Wales is his top choice. Foxx Brownstein, also in her second year, applied to eleven universities across the country. To date, Pace University, the University of New Haven, and the University of Cincinnati have said yes. Carter and Foxx are in the photograph above. Other recent acceptances include Evan Acevedo at Adelphi University, Lexa Calsson at Eastern Connecticut State University and Susquehanna University, and Matt Georges at Rochester Institute of Technology. Undoubtedly, Byron Crozier, College Counselor, will provide updates about the next round of college acceptances upon the return from our February vacation.
