What is your favorite Franklin memory? Any time I get to engage with students and faculty around shared interests and passions.
What is your favorite Franklin tradition and why? I very much enjoyed traveling with our faculty and students to Japan. The students and staff who went were very passionate about learning about Japanese culture. We got to have a lot of fun, learn a lot, and really see our students utilize independent life skills learned at Franklin in a fun, but challenging environment and situation.
What is your favorite thing about working with these students? Our students are genuine. This allows faculty to develop strong, safe, and meaningful relationships that can provide space for growth and fun.
What is something fun/quirky people should know about you? I love the horror genre.
The most important quality a teacher applying to Franklin Academy should have is… Flexibility and a genuine desire to work with our population of students.
