This is a big deal. Four Franklin Academy students applied to RIT this year. Each was accepted. The College of Health Science and Technology approved Jimmy Myers’ application. Joey Luis is into the College of Art and Design. And, the College of Engineering admitted Dan Meuse and Michael Lehman. With three alumni already there, I added RIT to our college tour last October. As a result of this visit, I am now recommending RIT to those students who love mathematics, science, and art. When you go to RIT’s website, you will read on the homepage these words from their president: “RIT is one of the top universities in the nation working at the intersection of technology, the arts, and design. We are a university that is shaping the future and improving the world through creativity and innovation.” Certainly, great opportunity beckons for Jimmy, Joey, Dan, and Michael!
