All faculty and administrators returned to campus in early September with negative COVID-19 tests. Now, we are requiring a second round of negative tests before students start arriving with their own documentation of negative test results. Next, we have scheduled a mobile unit to come to Franklin Academy on October 1. PhysicianOne will conduct an anterior PCR nasal swab test of all students and Franklin Academy employees to ensure no one contracted the infection during our repopulation. We will repeat this testing procedure on October 28. Meanwhile, employees participated in a flu vaccination clinic today. We will be offering the same opportunity to students on October 16. We believe that regular COVID-19 testing and flu vaccinations strengthen the layers of protection at Franklin Academy. Our shared goal is to enjoy a productive and healthy fall semester together.
