Nicole has a diverse background in education and social work, bringing a wealth of experience to her current role. She began her career as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in public schools before transitioning to social work with the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Her work included supporting individuals in residential treatment centers, group homes, and serving as a job coach. Presently, Nicole serves as the Evaluation Center Coordinator and is an integral part of both the Wellness Center staff and the residential team. Her passion for counseling and helping people grow is evident in her commitment to her work and she finds it rewarding to witness the progress her students make, celebrating their small victories along the way and the significant strides they’ve taken by the end of the year.

Nicole thrives in collaborative environments, where she can work alongside a team to help students reach their goals. This collaborative spirit and dedication to seeing others succeed continue to motivate her in all that she does. Her favorite thing about working with Franklin students is the challenge of figuring out what strategies or supports work to best support them while helping them develop the life skills that they will need once they leave Franklin. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, knitting, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She also has a love for coaching, having dedicated over ten years to coaching soccer when her children were younger.
