Lee Barsom is the Director of School Operations at Franklin Academy, a position that Lee has served in since the school’s inception in 2001. Lee started his management career in April  1977 with a major food service company for 13 years, leaving in 1990 as a midlevel multi-unit manager. The next progressive step up was as a regional director of a major retail company charged with the expansion into metro New York City and Long Island. In 1995, Lee went into the home construction business with a nationwide “be your own general contractor” company as their Director of Construction Support. At any one time, one thousand-plus homes nationwide were under the control of Lee’s 150-plus team members from start to finish. In October 2001, Lee joined the founding administrators forming Franklin Academy and is still here today.
