Summer Sojourn 2018
Come experience the camaraderie of students with like interests in a community that fosters personal growth. Make friends, have fun, explore interests. Live and learn on a campus that promotes independence. Engage in hands-on, experiential learning and discover new interests. Surprise yourself!
The Summer Sojourn at Franklin Academy is designed for students, age 13 to 19. Students eligible for this summer program include those students who are currently enrolled at Franklin Academy, students newly accepted for the Fall, and students enrolled at other schools who meet our admissions requirements.
For newly accepted students to Franklin Academy, Summer Sojourn is a great introduction to campus, faculty and other students – giving them an added advantage in the Fall. Current students enjoy continued friendships developed during the school year. And, students only here for Summer Sojourn can experience how it feels to be with peers who share similar interests and to work with faculty knowledgeable about unique learning styles and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Session I June 24 - July 7
