What is your favorite Franklin memory? My favorite Franklin memory was taking some graduating seniors tubing in my boat and then to dinner afterwards.
What is your favorite Franklin tradition and why? I enjoy the GFO (Greater Franklin Open) because it promotes group/team development and the students and faculty have fun dressing up for the Sartorial Splendor award
What is your favorite thing about working with these students? I enjoy watching our students transform their lives while developing excitement about their futures.
What is something fun/quirky people should know about you? Too many things: Make my custom made fishing rods, play tennis, was 5ft tall when I graduated high school, had an extreme dislike of school
The most important quality a teacher applying to Franklin Academy should have is… The most essential qualities for a teacher are: sense of humor, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
If I could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), I would choose… Thomas Jefferson
Something I love about Franklin Academy is… What I love about Franklin Academy is the community and sense of belonging!
If I could shadow a Franklin alum for the day, what would I hope to learn? I would hope to learn if the student is living independently and leading a satisfying life.
