Kevin Trimble
Kevin Trimble joins Franklin Academy with a depth of experience that is deeply aligned with the institution’s mission. Throughout his career, especially at Beyond Akeela, Kevin has worked extensively with neurodivergent students and their families across secondary and post-secondary settings. Kevin brings a nuanced understanding of how systems, environments, and operations directly shape student success. Beyond Akeela is a residential summer transition program that supports neurodivergent teens as they build the social, executive functioning, self-advocacy, and independent living skills essential for thriving in college and beyond. He is widely respected for his ability to design safe, experiential learning environments that are intentional, developmentally appropriate, and transformative, setting a national standard for programs that support complex learners with dignity and purpose.
Prior to his work at Beyond Akeela, Kevin spent several years in public accounting with EY. During his time at EY he built a foundational understanding of complex business ecosystems and the processes that keep them operationally sound. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. He brings measured, deeply informed perspectives, strong business acumen, and a rich knowledge of best practices across independent schools, residential programs, and higher education.
