Emily Duffy
Emily joined the Franklin Academy faculty as a Learning Specialist in the spring of 2022, and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for students in the Second Form. With her extensive experience working with neurodivergent learners of all ages and specialized training in the Wilson Reading System for teaching students with dyslexia, Emily works with teaching faculty to differentiate curricula and helps students develop individualized learning strategies. She looks forward to hearing how our graduates use their many gifts in their personal and professional lives, and seeing how their Franklin friendships maintain over time. Emily holds her Connecticut Comprehensive Special Education K-12 Certificate and is a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst. Outside of school, she enjoys the outdoors, particularly swimming and hiking, and plays on a competitive trivia team.
