Colin Schexnyder is a dedicated member of the Franklin Academy Grounds & Maintenance Department who joined our community in May of 2025. Originally from Texas, he relocated to Connecticut in 2024 and brought with him six years of experience in the plumbing industry. He holds a Journeyman plumbing license in Texas, and continues to expand his expertise as part of Franklin’s facilities team. He enjoys working at Franklin because it provides daily opportunities to learn new skills and take on fresh challenges. His favorite thing about Franklin Academy is the student-centered approach to preparing neurodivergent students for life-long success, a mission he is proud to support through his work on campus.
