Kody began their career in education in 2021 as a special education paraprofessional with New London Public Schools, supporting students on the autism spectrum. They later continued their work with Norwich Public Schools before joining Franklin Academy as a residential counselor for Summer at Franklin 2025.

In their current role as a member of the Student Life team, Kody supports students in their daily residential experience, fostering community and personal growth. Alongside their work at Franklin, they are pursuing an associate’s degree in biology and work as a freelance photographer.

Outside of work, Kody enjoys singing, photography, reading, practicing martial arts, and playing video and role-playing games.
