Venues include the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, European Media Arts Festival, Mono No Aware, Chicago Underground Film Festival, 25 FPS Festival, and Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival. He has won jury prizes, awards, and grants. Most recently, he is the recipient of a 2021 Artistic Excellence Award for Film from the Connecticut Office of the Arts.
Once again, Josh will be one of Franklin Academy’s several artists-in-residence during our summer program. To learn more about Josh’s Film Institute, as well as other high-interest classes, consider the Summer Live Chat for current parents this Thursday, April 1, from 5 to 6 pm. Tom Hays, Kristen Humiston, and Vince Schmidt will be your hosts. They will provide information and answer questions about the fantastic opportunities our Summer Program has to offer. Please email Anna Brown (abrown@fa-ct.org) for the Zoom link.
PS: Josh and I went to the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2011. I pretended to be the producer of his films so I could mingle with professional artists. What an experience in the south of France!
