So it begins – my favorite time of the school year. The run from Halloween to New Year’s has so many celebratory moments on campus and at home. The landscape and weather are variable as Indian Summer days follow cold mornings and mist rising from the Connecticut River and the Franklin Academy pond. Hard rains pull brilliant fall foliage down from trees now reaching peak color. Of course, there is always the possibility of early snow, reminding everyone that winter is coming. This weekend students and teachers dressed up for All Hallows Eve, a tradition perhaps influenced by ancient Celtic harvest traditions. Click here for the video slideshow. Happy Halloween.
