Here at the start of our mid-winter break there is more good news to share about college admissions for the class of 2019. Tig Best and William Coons, two of our postgraduate students, have heard from their first schools. Tig has been accepted by Landmark College (www.landmark.edu), in Putney, Vermont, a favorite destination for any number of our graduates. William is into Lesley University (www.lesley.edu), located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Tig is a third year student at Franklin Academy, earned her diploma last June, and is now completing an extra year of preparation before heading off to college. William is a fifth year student, having been with us since the start of freshman year, graduating last June, and currently enjoying the benefits of a postgraduate year. On behalf of the Franklin family, I want to extend our congratulations to Tig and William.
I also would like to provide an update about additional college acceptances for seniors and postgraduates brought to your attention in earlier posts.
Rory Gibbs: Curry College (www.curry.edu), Hartwick College (www.hartwick.edu), and Marshall University (www.marshall.edu)
