Fall Trimester and December Intersession are over. The winter solstice arrives this Monday. These are the shortest days of the year, with more hours of darkness than light. It is time to hunker down with our families to celebrate the winter holidays, stay safe from the pandemic, and look forward to a better 2021. Before too long, the days will grow longer. Seed catalogs will entice us with visions of spring lettuce and summer tomatoes, and COVID-19 vaccines will soon be available in sufficient quantities. Then, I hope that we will reclaim the fullness of life as previously experienced – this is my New Year’s wish for all of us. On behalf of the school’s Board of Trustees, the administrative team, faculty, and all staff, I extend our best wishes for a joyous holiday season.
