Philanthropy at Franklin Academy

Franklin Academy’s financial model is based on the fiscally conservative foundation of “charging what it costs.” As a young school with a small endowment, it is important that we maintain this practice. Tuition dollars alone allow us to pay the bills, make payroll, and maintain our unique program. However, we rely on the philanthropy of parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and friends to provide monies to enhance the curriculum, upgrade facilities, fund scholarships, and secure the future of the school. Recent gifts have funded “In the Presence of Animals,” an exciting signature program initiative, professional development for faculty, and the creation of Franklin Connections – our new alumni networking platform.
