Yesterday we saw an exciting Super Bowl. It was Groundhog Day as well, and spring might be around the corner. The day was also special for mathematicians. They commemorated the first 8-digit, cross-cultural palindrome day in more than 900 years – 02/02/2020. Additionally, this past weekend marked the mid-point in our school year, which we commemorated last Wednesday during our Community Meeting Halfway Day Celebration. Highlights included feasting on half Dunkin’ Donuts and a freeze dance competition won by Mark Hally. Now, the calendar begins to pick up speed as we move inexorably towards graduation.
