Rebecca Hays, Franklin Academy’s Program Director, and her team of colleagues responsible for managing all aspects of Franklin Academy program met today to begin preparations for a new school year. From left to right in the photograph above, one will see Kristen Humiston, Program Manager; Kinsley Rausch, Dean of Transitional Services; Chelsea Lazos, Dean of Students; Shannon Cove, Academic Dean; and Rebecca. Next, our counselors, residential deans, and learning specialists return this Wednesday. These members of team leadership will begin reaching out by telephone to each of our families, starting on Thursday and Friday, in order to make a first contact, answer questions, and kick off the year. Finally, all of our classroom teachers report to work on Monday, August 26. Then, the countdown to opening day will quickly move ahead.
