Day Two Visit to Princeton University

Warm weather and a light rain greeted us first thing this morning.  However, after brunch at the Princetonian Diner, the sky temporarily cleared long enough for our tour of the Princeton University campus.  Even in a crowd of people, our students distinguished themselves with plenty of good questions for John, our tour leader who is beginning his senior year.  An ice cream treat followed at the Bent Spoon, highly recommended by Hailey Matthews who lived many years in Princeton.  Then, we began the trek south to Baltimore.  The day concluded with our obligatory restaurant dinner, this time at Michael's, a popular and highly recommended seafood restaurant just minutes from our Hampton Inn.  Tomorrow the day will start earlier.  We will leave the hotel by 8 am in order to register for Visitor Day at Goucher College where we will spend the entire morning.  The schedule includes a campus tour, a welcome by the Goucher College President, a panel discussion about the student experience at Goucher, and a session about admissions and financial aid before a box lunch courtesy of the college.  By early afternoon we will be on our way to Gettysburg.
